Trauma healing training

We have long dreamed of a way to be more trauma-informed in our work with refugee communities. Finally we have found a way forward! We will be partnering with American Bible Society’s Trauma Healing Institute to develop a local Bible-based trauma healing program. This will enable people just like you to offer informal healing groups in our community—to friends, neighbors, community groups, and eventually to refugees!

We’ll be hosting a virtual gathering to discuss the opportunity on April 12, and then we’ll host the training on June 10–13. Pray that all the details come together so that this important event can take place! We only have room for 12 people, so pray with us that just the right people attend—those who would be most likely to participate in offering trauma healing groups to refugees. We also need to raise several thousand dollars to cover the costs of the event!
