August Answers

Thank you for your commitment to support our work with prayer! While we don’t often think about it this way, prayer IS the work we are called to! This paves the way for God to work, and it also prepares our hearts to humbly accept his guidance. We are so encouraged that 80 people are now committed members of our Prayer Team. Our goal is to have 10 people signed up for every day of the month—300 people in total. So in just a few months, we’ve already nearly a third of the way to that goal! Thank you for taking prayer seriously with us!

Before we share this month’s prayer focus, I want to share some recent answers to prayer:

(1) If you’ve been on our website’s prayer page, you will see that we have been desperate for a childcare coordinator. God answered this prayer, and we hired a wonderful woman just today! Praise God for this connection with someone who has a heart for children, and who works so well with our team.

(2) We asked you to pray for a new mentorship between Eric and Rainbow, a Karen pastor from Myanmar. They’ve now begun meeting, and we’re so excited about the doors God has already opened! Eric’s background involves training pastors overseas, so this was a wonderful opportunity to support a refugee pastor. Eric will be preaching at Rainbow’s church this October!! We are praying for more male connections, and we have several more men in the pipeline now. Praise God!
