Giving Season is here!
| SAVE THE DATE! The Panhandle Gives is almost here, so mark your calendars for November 21-29 and follow us on social media for a chance to win some prizes during the campaign! Last year, the money raised during those nine days accounted for 32% of our total donations for the year. We cannot stress enough the importance of giving via The Panhandle Gives during the last week of this month! Click the button below to set a reminder. This will be our third year to participate in this annual fundraiser hosted and coordinated by the Amarillo Area Foundation (AAF). In case you need a refresher, here are some key things to remember: – We receive 100% of donations made to RLP through The Panhandle Gives, along with additional “amplification funds”. Last year those extra funds added up to $9,000! – All gifts are tax deductible. – It’s easiest to give online, but you can also donate by cash, check or money order at sponsoring banks: Amarillo National Bank, Happy State Bank, First Bank Southwest. – Checks must be made out to The Panhandle Gives with Refugee Language Project in the memo line.
